[Today was a good day for a random act of kindness, Cecilia style. Earlier in the day she had found some thermoses in the item shop, as well as a table. After seeing that the thermos could keep warm drinks warm and cold drinks cold with the help of ice, she had an idea.

So, after dragging out the small table to the plaza, she had a small lemonade stand in front of the fountain, paper cups included. Cecilia will be offering cups to anyone that wants one today!]

[Why hello there curiously new lemonade stand. Tsuzuki is drawn to it like a cat to a toy. Besides, once he had stopped by the bakery he could use something to drink with the cinnabons.]

Aren't you cold, miss?

[Who can say no to free stuff? (Or free... free stuff...) Jason was heading for the store when he noticed Cecilia's little stand, and being as curious as he is, he just has to make his way over. With a slight smile, he asks:]

What's the special occasion?

Not at all. Would you like some?

[Just in case, she has some sugar and more lemons to balance out the taste, if it's too bitter or too sweet. She's not exactly a pro at this sort of thing.]

There's no special occasion. I'm doing it for fun, really. Something nice for everyone. Anyway, did you want some?

How could I say no? [It didn't really matter what she'd made—anything that someone put this much effort into was totally worth trying.] Just in time, too. I wonder how long this weather'll last?

[Well this one's going to be walking by on her way to All Passions and she spots Cecilia's little stand. She pauses briefly to examine it, smiling a little.]

Hey there. Getting a lot of customers?

I'm not sure. It's a nice break from the cold though, and I can appreciate that. [And a cup is handed over. There's extra lemons and sugar if it's not to taste!]

Hopefully it won't stay cold much longer. I can't really go out and stay out in the forest or anywhere else like this. [Or anywhere, really. It was harder to figure out what she might need supply-wise without harming herself. On the upside, she would probably stick close to town just in case!]

Ah, a few people here and there. Would you like any?

[You know you do, Shiki! It's super enticing...!]

[It's true. Shiki's a huge sucker.] Sure, of course. You made it yourself?

Thanks. [He accepts the cup with a smile. It's a little bitter, but he doesn't seem to have any problems with it.] You'd rather live out in the forest?

Yes, please.

[He looks at the lemonade curiously, his wings fluffing up because of the cold.]

What is in it?

Lemons, water, and some sugar. I have extra ingredients just in case, since I know others might like it a little more tart or sweet.

[That and while she thinks it tastes ok, it might not be up to taste for anyone else.]

I get cabin fever if I'm not moving around constantly, actually. It comes with being a Drifter in my home world. [Something that she has no problems with doing otherwise, but the cold is a problem.]

I did, yes! If it's too sweet or too tart, please add more sugar or lemon juice to it.

You've really thought of everything. That's the sign of a true business girl.

Oh. I get it. It must be weird here with so few places to go. Have you been here long?

What a good idea. It's been ages since I had proper lemonade.

[Well, Tsuzuki isn't everybody. He gladly takes a cup, and although the taste is a bit tarter than he expects, a wide grin spreads on his face.]

It's really good!

Oh, thank you! It took me a couple tries to get right. I'm glad it's not just me that thinks it's good now.

[There's a laugh and nod to that.]

A little weird, but it's nice to have a place to go back to, so to speak. I've been here... mm, a little over six months I think. What about you?

Ahaha really? Thanks. I figured I might not make it to someone's taste, so I brought exta stuff. I'm not sure how lemonade would do year round though.

Hot chocolate on the other hand can at least be adapted to work even on the hottest day of the year. I think it's important you're keeping your options open though.

Wow, six whole months? [There's a pause as he thinks it over for a second, and then:] I think it's been about four for me. It sure doesn't feel like it, though.

[It's really not that bad, now that he's growing used to it.] Do you make lemonade often?

Oh, no, this is the first time I've made it. There was some trial and error before this batch of course, but it took some time.

Has it felt longer for you? Or maybe only a short time?

It can? I wasn't so sure, so I didn't try it. I'd like to learn as much as possible for next time.

Shorter, for sure. Way shorter. I guess it's kinda easy to lose track of time here.

A little, yes. Maybe between seasons that is. Oh, and the Shifts too. So far I haven't seen anything too terrible, at least to me.

Yeah, me, either. [That's not entirely true. He'd seen some awful things here. But even if it was pointless, he still made an effort to keep his experiences and Robin's experiences separate.] Maybe that's why it feels like it goes by so fast. But I guess as long as I don't gotta stand around thinking I'm a bird or something for too long, it's not really a bad thing.

A bird? Why would you think you're a bird?

[For her, that would imply something else, so she's pretty curious on if his meaning is the same as hers.]
